We are proud to announce that we have commenced training on the all new Range Rover Evoque. Les Potts and his Workshop Supervisor Dominic Bland have already completed the 2 Day LR533 - Evoque Introduction course at the Land Rover Technical Academy 1 Bird Road, Leamington, Warwickshire, CV34 6TB. This exciting new vehicle introduces a variety of new technologies never seen before on the Range Rover brand. Over the two day period the focus was on these new technologies and highlighted changes and updates to the existing systems.

Objectives of the course were too:-

• Effectively remove key trims and body components potentially required within the dealership
• Identify the electrical architecture and physical locations of the power distribution boxes and control modules
• Recognise the communication network topology layout across the model variants
• Identify updates and modifications to the passive entry and starting system
• Identify power tailgate system components and explain its functionality
• Review the brand new park assist feature (including EPAS)
• Review infotainment technologies
• Differentiate the new park brake from the existing system employed on current vehicle products
• Explore the all-new MagneRide suspension system
• Explore the all-new shift by wire transmission selector
• Explore the all-new 2.0l GTDi engine.

Les Potts said, I went into this course thinking the Range Rover Evoque would be a upmarket Freelander 2, how wrong was I. The Evoque is a proper Range Rover with technology that overshadows even the latest Vogue in some key areas. The Evoque is a well thought out design and as the sales have shown so far is guaranteed to be a hit for Land Rover. I have attended many product launches with Land Rover but have never felt as positive about a product as I have with the Evoque.

We have started inhouse training with all members of staff and have access to all the Evoque workshop manuals, technical bulletins, diagnostics and wring diagrams to ensure that we can carry out servicing and any repairs that you may require.
