This has increased the dependency on computer based diagnostic systems, special tools and specialised vehicle lifting equipment. We now have the latest Land Rover Diagnostic System (IDS) with software updates gu aranteed by Land Rover for 5 years. We have 6 vehicle lifts capable of lifting the complete Land Rover product range. We have also taken delivery from SPX of a set of Land Rover dealer standard special tools.

Les Potts opened a state of the art 4,000 sq ft facility with a fully equipped workshop for the service and repair of Land Rover Vehicles.

Les Potts Four Wheel Drive became the first independent service centre in the world to purchase a Land Rover Testbook T4 diagnostic system.

Les Potts Four Wheel Drive purchased three new vehicle lifts, giving us a total of five lifts including a Freelander friendly two post lift.

Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive subscribed to Land Rovers GTR (Global Technical Reference). The GTR website provides 24-hour access to the full range of up date technical information, special tools, diagnostic equipment and training material. This information is essential carry out a complete range of service and repair operations on Land Rover vehicles to maintain them to the original Land Rover specification.

Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive again became the first independent Land Rover specialist in the world to receive the new Land Rover Vehicle Communication Module (VCM) and Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS) software. This system upgrade supports all diagnostics on Range Rover Sport, Discovery 3 and future vehicles.

Les Potts Four Wheel Drive purchased a specially adapted 2 post ramp for use with New Range Rover models. This gives us a total of six vehicle lifts capable of lifting all the current Land Rover model range safely and correctly.

Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive became the first independent Land Rover specialist in the world to purchase the latest Land Rover Diagnostic system. Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) is at the cutting edge of vehicle diagnostics and gives Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive the same
Diagnostic system as any Land Rover main dealer. We completed 150 hours training at the Land Rover Technical Academy in 2006.

Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive purchased the full set of special tools from SPX, Land Rover?s main supplier of special tools and diagnostic systems. Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive is the first Land Rover independent service centre in the UK to have a complete and up to date set of Land Rover special tools. We have over 200 hours training booked at the Land Rover Technical Academy in 2007.
