In 2004 Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive paid for access to Land Rovers GTR (Global Technical Reference), The GTR website provides 24-hour access to the full range of up to date technical information, special tools, diagnostic equipment and training material. This information is essential to carry out a complete range of service and repair operations on Land Rover vehicles to maintain them to the original Land Rover specification.
In 2006 Les Potts 4 Wheel drive became the first independent in the world to receive the latest Land Rover Diagnostic system. Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) is at the cutting edge of vehicle diagnostics and gives Les Potts 4 Wheel drive the same Land Rover diagnostic system as all Land Rover main dealers. The IDS diagnostic system comes with 5 year software updates, hardware support and service. The IDS also gives the technician working on the vehicle wireless access to Land Rovers Global Technical Reference (GTR), this 24 hour online service carries technical information for all Land Rover models including technical bulletins, service recalls and workshop manuals.

All genuine parts fitted are covered by Land Rover’s 12 month unlimited mileage parts and labour warranty.

The Land Rover Symptom Driven Diagnostic (SDD) is being introduced to improve the diagnostic capability. SDD represents a leap forward in diagnostic technology for current vehicles, combining the ease of use and familiarity of previous diagnostic systems with an up to date and enhanced software.
On the 22nd September 2009 Les Potts attended the Land Rover 2010 Model Year update course at the Land Rover Technical Academy 1 Bird Road, Warwick, CV346TB. The course is designed to enhance the understanding of the Land Rover 2010 model year changes.
Land Rover’s Global Technical Reference (GTR) has been replaced by a new Jaguar Land Rover web-site which will offer access to the technical and owner documentation that you currently access via the GTR website.
